Previously, Judd founded and led Jazwares as Chief Executive Officer. In 1997, he left his legal practice to pursue his dream of building a toy company, and over the next 25+ years grew it into a global powerhouse with an award-winning portfolio of wholly owned and licensed brands. Berkshire Hathaway acquired Jazwares in 2022.
Judd has been widely recognized for his leadership and entrepreneurial impact. He was named one of the South Florida Business Journal's Ultimate CEOs in 2024 and included in its Power Leaders 250 list. He was honored among The Business Report's Top 50 Entrepreneurs of 2023, and he and Laura were named License Global Influentials the same year for driving innovation in the global brand licensing industry.
Under Judd's leadership, Jazwares earned recognition as a TIME100 Most Influential Company, a Fast Company Best Workplace for Innovators, a Fortune Best Workplace in Manufacturing & Production, a South Florida Business Journal Best Place to Work, and a Certified Great Place to Work.
A strong advocate for giving back, Judd established Jazwares Cares, the company's philanthropic arm, at its inception. Through Jazwares Cares, the company has donated millions of toys and launched initiatives supporting the health, well-being, and educational development of children through play. Judd and Laura are deeply committed to improving lives through their personal philanthropy.
Judd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.
Laura Zebersky

LinkedInLaura is the co-founder of Lezah Capital, where she brings an operational focus to helping portfolio companies build the processes, culture, and leadership teams that drive long-term growth.
Previously, Laura served as President of Jazwares, a Berkshire Hathaway company, a role she assumed in January 2021. After a successful 13-year career as a trial attorney, Laura joined Jazwares in 2005, working alongside Founder, CEO and Husband Judd Zebersky. Starting in licensing, her ability to create meaningful consumer experiences propelled her to Chief Commercial Officer, where she helped catapult the company's growth through global licensing partnerships, retail expansion, and exponential sales. She was instrumental in identifying, building, and selling some of the most transformational brands in the toy industry.
In 2023, Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment honored Laura with its Visionary Leader Award, following her 2017 Wonder Woman in Manufacturing Award. That same year, Laura and Judd were named License Global Influentials, recognizing exceptional individuals driving innovation and growth in global brand licensing.
Laura's philanthropic work extends across a large range of organizations including Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, where she is the immediate past board chair and current board member.
Laura holds a Bachelor's Degree from American University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.
